How do I get farm raised pork?
Just email us and order a hog.
What am I getting and how much?
Our hogs finish weight is approximately
250 – 300 lbs live weight.
A whole hog will yield approximately 140 – 160 lbs of meat, and a half hog is 65 – 75 lbs of meat. Finished weights vary and are affected by the size of the pig, and how you choose to have the meat butchered and packaged.
Price is based on live weight. Prices include preparation and butchering to your request.
Our 2018 price is $4.25 lb whole pig and $4.50 lb for 1/2 pig

What do you get with a whole pig? Here is a common example:
6 Boneless loin roasts 4 lbs each
2 Shoulder roasts 6 lbs each
4 Picnic roasts 4 lbs each
2 Tenderloin 1.5 lbs each
2 Spare Ribs 5 lbs each
2 Baby Back Ribs 1.5 lbs each
4 Hams 10 lbs each
3 packs of hocks 3 lbs each
15 Sausage 1 lb packs
Bacon 18 lbs
= 150 lbs of organic, pasture-raised Pork.

Cuts can be changed to your preference.
In place of spare ribs and boneless pork loin, you can get pork chops. If purchasing a whole pig, you can have ½ chops and one rack of spare ribs and half of the boneless loins.
Pick up at the butcher or from our farm for a small additional charge.
Can’t fit that much pork in your freezer? We will find a friend for the other half, just indicate that when you order.
( For about $125 you can purchase a small chest freezer which will hold all of your pork).
You get excellent tasting pork, farm-raised, well cared for, and without hormones or antibiotics; you also get the peace of mind of knowing where your food comes from.
